What gets you the most accurate number fastest
Send a couple of photos of the stump from different angles with something in frame for scale, along with how many stumps total and a quick description of the yard - open lawn, a fenced side yard behind a Towering Oaks-style ranch, a slope, or anything nearby worth flagging like a driveway edge, a slab, or a sprinkler system you know runs through that section of lawn. That's usually enough for us to give you a real, specific price the same day rather than a wide range that changes once we're on-site.
When we'll ask to look at it in person first
A few situations are genuinely hard to price from a photo alone - several large hardwood stumps clustered together, a stump we suspect has grown into a driveway edge or slab footer, or a job where access looks tight enough that equipment choice matters more than usual. In those cases we'll say so honestly rather than guess low and revise the number once we're standing there, and we'll set up a quick in-person look before locking anything in.
